Description
A statuette of a happy little piglet on a swing tied to a tree near the grave of a person named Ham; available in traditional fine art photography print; 6830
I have always liked this - seems like it was done by a really cool family with a great sense of humor. This happy little piglet on a swing was tied to a tree limb over the grave of a loved one named Ham in the historic Green Hill Cemetery located in Greensboro, North Carolina. It always brought a smile to my face. The last time I was there, I noticed the twine had rotted and the pig was on the ground. I picked it up and put it on the gravestone so that a lawnmower would not run him over and destroy him. Next time I go back, I plan to bring some twine and put him back up in the tree where he belongs - joyfully swinging into eternity.
