Image taken on the parkway in the area south of Grandfather Mountain. From an HDR original. Standing in the middle of the Blue Ridge Parkway during fall colors to take a photograph has its dangers. Especially on a foggy day when visibility can be low. But this picture was so beautiful, the atmosphere so foggy I could not pass up the opportunity.
