Birds blissfully feed in the foreground while stormy seas surround them. An approaching storm creates stormy breaking waves. If you look closely you can see after the rough surf breaks high winds shear off the top of the waves, sending the spray out to sea. This picture was taken on Ocracoke Island on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The original infrared photograph was converted to black & white. 9260. #photography #painting #homedecor #fineart
