Description
The threatening storm in the distance is from Hurricane Hanna which was downgraded to a tropical storm and swept through the Outer Banks in early September 2008. This picture was taken on the south end of Ocracoke Island on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I had been taking pictures before, during, and after the passing of the storm. As this storm cell passed by this location, it was intense and cleared the beaches. I was the last one left as I took this picture. I think the tracks in the sand, and the dramatic distant storm create a beautiful picture. 4813. #photography #hurricane #homedecor #fineart.
