Description
The beauty of the North Carolina and Virginia mountains and forests. The Blue Ridge Mountains, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and elsewhere. The North Carolina and Virginia mountains - trees, flowers, snow, rocks, lakes, rivers, creeks and streams. It's all there to enjoy all seasons of the year - winter, spring, summer, and fall.
It looks like and old dirt fire road with two tire tracks, but this old road in the Blue Ridge Mountains is gated and can only be used as a hiking trail. This hiking path can be found along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia.
The location where the original fine art picture was taken is at the higher elevations of the Jefferson National Forest (the parkway runs through it) which is why it is still foggy in the late afternoon. It's a wonderful place to hike, whether covered with fog or clear. 0606-10. #photography #painting #homedecor #fineart
