Molasses Creek on Ocracoke Island Outer Banks is absolutely beautiful. It is an opening from the Pamlico Sound to the Atlantic Ocean. When this picture was taken, it was just after sunrise but the mosquitoes were, as they always are, horrendous. Still, the image was worth the effort.
