The two trees, standing tall on the top of a hill in their back-lit glory, seem to be reaching for the sky. A fine art infrared photograph. Available in original toned, black & white, and abstract versions; picture taken along the Blue Ridge in the Doughton Park area; this is the original toned version; 1298
The backlighting from the morning sun made the leaves on these trees sparkle like diamonds. I knew it would make a wonderful photo when shot in black & white in infrared. I produced various versions because of the flexibility of the photo. The toned version is as the photograph came out of the camera. The black & white version is with the tone removed. And that wildly abstracted version with its special effects was to give it a surreal, abstract style. #blueridgeparkway #blueridgemountains #fineartprint
