Description
Beautiful and bright colored late spring new growth of moss and rhodendrons on a wet cliff. Taken in the Doughton Park area on the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina; available in traditional fine art photography and painted photograph versions; 3999
There are many vertical cliffs on the Blue Ridge Parkway and typically, they are wet and dripping like this one. The brilliant colors of this picture are real. Late spring is when the brilliant green of new spring growth can be found on higher elevations of the parkway. This scene combining the beautiful wet rock, the brilliant new growth green and the Rhododendron flowers was worth getting wet for.
