Description
A lone tree with fresh Spring leaves sits on rocks before sunset on the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This picture was taken near Ravens Roost in Virginia. Although the picture was taken in April, in the mountains Spring blossoms have just begun. The sun, enhanced by light clouds, is not too far from sunset and the beginnings of a little color can be seen on the horizon of the distant mountains.
