A foggy Autumn morning on Price Lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This picture was taken along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. Price Lake is located not too far from Blowing Rock and Boone North Carolina. There are less than a handful of lakes along the 469-mile road which is the Blue Ridge Parkway. The two largest and most well-known are Abbott Lake at Peaks of Otter in Virginia, and the lake pictured here - Price Lake in North Carolina.
Price Lake is one of the most popular destinations of visitors to the parkway, especially in the fall when Autumn fall colors can be vivid and early morning steam rises from Price Lake and nearby streams. This picture was taken around sunrise. 6877. #photography #painting #homedecor #fineart
