This image is of Molasses Creek on Ocracoke Island on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Molasses Creek is not really a creek, but rather a short opening (inlet) from the sound to the ocean. This picture is looking toward the Pamlico Sound side. Available in traditional fine art photography version; 2500
Molasses Creek on Ocracoke Island Outer Banks is absolutely beautiful. It is an opening from the Pamlico Sound to the Atlantic Ocean. When this picture was taken, it was just after sunrise but the mosquitoes were, as they always are, horrendous. Still, the image was worth the effort.
